Lutheran Men in Mission (LMM)

All men of Our Savior's are invited to participate in the many activities of LMM: organizational meetings; Bible studies; winter retreats; service projects at church, Camp Emmaus, and in the community (i.e., Rebuilding Together). It’s a great way to get acquainted with other men and participate in the ministry of the church.

All women of Our Savior's are included and encouraged to participate!
Executive Board meets monthly at 6:30 p.m. for planning
Several events are held during the year including the fall bazaar, Christmas program,winter retreat; spring tea and more.

The following circles meet monthly for Bible study, service projects and fellowship:

Esther Circle - 4th Tuesday, 1:00
(Support youth organization of our church)
Hannah Circle - 4th Tuesday, 2.00
   (Service to the residents of the Moorhead Manor)
Naomi Circle - 4th Tuesday, 9:30am
   (Friday Fellowship)
Noah’s Ark Circle (couples) - 4th Sunday, 7:00
   (Food Pantry)

Ruth Circle - 4th Tuesday, 7:30
   (Food pantry in Aug., decorate the church for holidays)
Altar Guild - 4th Tuesday, 7:30
   (Care of the altar and communion preparation)
Library Guild - 4th Wednesday, 9:00am
   (Buy and repair books, care for church library)

QUILTING

Quilters meet Thursdays at 8:00 a.m. to make quilts for those in need locally and around the world.

Men Alive! Bible Study

This group meets every Tuesday morning at 6:30 am in the Larsen Lounge, led by Pastor Loren.
All men are welcome!

Prayer Group

This group meets for prayer every Thursday morning at 7:00 a.m. in the Larsen Lounge. Please contact Addie Rasmus (218-233-4439) for more information.

Friday Fellowship

Meets on the 4th Friday of the month at 2:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. All seniors welcome!

Our Savior's Helpers

This group of retired men meets the first and third Thursdays of the month at 9:00 am for coffee and working on various projects. These projects include such things as painting, carpentry jobs, making the Lenten theme handouts, and even assembling the Annual Report! You don't need to be especially “handy”; we can put you to work! We always welcome new people - please join us!

Book Club

This group meets the 4th Wednesday of the month at 4:00 p.m. in the Larsen Lounge to discuss a different book each month. They welcome new members! Questions? Call Rose-Mary Strom (233-7349).

Newsletter Assemblers

A group of members meet to assemble the Church newsletter every month for mailing.

100 Club
This group of singles and couples 50 and over get together for Bible Studies and a variety of social activities They meet on the 2nd Sunday of the month at 7:00. Call Nancey Schulz (233-5308) for more information.

Family Service Units
All members of our congregation serve on a family service unit for one month every other year. Service units help with funerals, weddings, Sunday morning coffee, Dorothy Day House, Churches United for the Homeless and other congregational events.
