Welcome to Our Savior's

Our Savior’s is a warm, welcoming community of Christians whose center for mission is located in north Moorhead, Minnesota.   

The congregation was begun over half a century ago by “northside” members of Trinity Lutheran Church concerned about the safety of their children crossing the railroad tracks that divide north Moorhead from south Moorhead. 

Originally established as a Sunday School and “chapel” for members of Trinity, Our Savior’s quickly grew into a vibrant congregation independent of its mother church. 

Today, the congregation has over 1,700 baptized members.

Our Ministries

Our Savior’s seeks to plant and nurture living faith in all God’s children. 

We offer

• Lively Sunday School and summer Bible school programs
• Confirmation classes using the new Here We Stand! program
• Exciting youth ministries like Wednesday Nite Live, youth groups, and mission trips
• Talented singing choirs, bell choirs, worship bands and the Praise in Motion liturgical dance group
• Sunday worship services using both traditional and alternative formats, midweek summer worship, and a popular midweek Lenten worship program
• Active men’s, women’s and senior adult groups, retreats, and scores of volunteer opportunities
• Partnerships with local mission agencies and projects such as Churches United for the Homeless, food shelves, refugee resettlement, the Dorothy Day House, New Life Center, and YWCA Women’s Shelter
• Expanding connections with the wider church through our sister churches—Eben-ezer Presbyterian Church of Yaxhachen, Mexico and Peoples Church of Bemidji, Minnesota—along with the Northwestern Minnesota Synod and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America
• Hosting and providing meeting space for community organizations and groups
