Children's Ministries
Our Savior’s Lutheran Church is dedicated to walking with all people in their faith journey. We are committed to helping all God’s children grow in God's Word, love and grace through study, worship, fellowship and service.
We are committed to nurturing children in their faith, equipping and empowering all adults within a family to be faith nurturers, and to providing a safe and powerful place for children to gather and study the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Sunday School
Our Sunday School program uses Spark, a curriculum that encourages kids to open the scriptures and explore God’s Word through a variety of activities. Our program is designed to help kids build a personal relationship with God’s Word. Students will learn to know the Word, how to grow in faith and show their service.
Our Savior’s offers Sunday School to all children ages 3 through 6th grade every Sunday morning, 9:30– 10:30 a.m., mid-September through mid-May. Children spend 40 minutes in small group learning about God’s Word, and 20 minutes is devoted to worshiping God with our voices.

Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is offered in late August and is held at Our Savior’s. This is a time when children ages 3 through 6th grade can come and celebrate God’s blessings and praise our Lord through song and crafts. Though the format and curriculum changes each year, the basis is still the same. These sessions are led by volunteers who graciously give their time and talents each summer. There is a small fee for each participant. Details are made available in the early summer.
Sunday School Teachers
Teachers, leaders and shepherds, confirmation guides and large group presenters are the backbone of the Christian Education Department at Our Savior’s. Without their help and guidance, we would not be able to offer such great educational opportunities each year. They bless us with their talents and give so unselfishly of their time for our children and youth. Students, parents and all members of the congregation, please remember to thank them each and every time you see them!
